Pathos Skin Care Trial Product Review from Kansas, Illinois

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
SCAM do not order the trial of alluring eyes, alluring skin.........nothing! Been on the phone on hold for 1hour now and no one will answer. When I received my trial the pump wouldn't work and couldn't get anything out of it. Only to find that today they took $89 out of my bank account this is BULL ***. I wanted to try it not spend a fortune. The trial was $3.00 NOT $89 this is rediculous and a scam. Still on hold trying to get my money back. I have finally been taken off hold. And demanded my money back all for them to hang up on me. And telling me I can't get my $89 back saying I am not being professional about this matter!!!!!! I'm sorry but when I can't get any product out of the bottle and clearly see you just taken the money out this morning and you tell me my trial time is up and can't refund me my $89.........there's a problem.

FREE TRIAL FOR $4.95 TURNS INTO A $89.10 CHARGE ON CREDIT CARD.

Ordered a free trial($4.95s/h) skin cream from Pathos skin care of Sunrise, Fla.(Orlando). In the very fine print you sign up for a monthly program of $89.10 for less than an oz.

of skin cream. When you complain that you do not want it they say too bad we got you and then offer you a discount of $22.27. That makes them feel good and honest that they only stuck you by $66.83 for not seeing the fine print.

BBB has 34 complaints of the exact same thing submitted with them. This is a scam and they take advantage of unknowing customers.

You are right I got scams over a $100 but never again.

This company is despicable!!! I was sent the trial for 4.95 and also the Derma Gen cream for 4.95 s/h.

I received the product but did not have an opportunity to try it as I was out of town for over a month. In the meantime they shipped me another order while I was away and two more orders after that without my consent. When I discovered they had debited my account for over $555 total, I nearly dropped!! I called them immediately using the contact number on my debit account.

They are almost impossible to reach. After a few calls and waiting a minimum of a half hour on each try, I finally reached someone who said they would credit the last shipment (Dec), November's shipment they would only credit 50% and October's shipment would not be credited at all and they would cancel my membership. I told them I never agreed to any membership. All the packages are unopened as are the samples.

I pleaded that I cannot afford this debit to my account as I'm on a fixed income. Need that money to pay my bills. The rep took my name and phone number and said a supervisor would call me back. That was Dec 30th....today is January 11th.

I've called again, and again, left my name and number, as their "call volume is always high"! They don't call back!! Called today again....this time I wasn't given the opportunity to leave my name and number....after a half hour they ended the call. Something has to be done about this company as soon as possible!!!

I'm ready to go to the media or worse "social media"!!

i have been trying to cancel my order and call the number ring once then hangs up i dont want this *** anymore stop sending it please!!!!!!!!!

Guest

I was under the impression that I could cancel at any time, not just within the 14 day trial period. When I received another shipment I called to cancel and wanted to return the product for a full refund.

Instead I was told I could only get 25% back and would have to pay for the rest. Now my account is cancelled, but I feel I have been robbed.

Guest

They did the same to me with Pearly White product. This company is a scam. They need to close down.

Guest

I had the same problem The free trail that cost $4.75 for shipment I tried it and the pump did not work and then I got charged $89.10 on my bank statement I called and they said it is not a sample (2oz) and tough, and hung up on me.

What a scam!!

Guest

I just called this company...same problem as everyone else. The kicker was when I told Amanda (4090) i was sending back the second bottle, unopened and not tampered with, she told me I would only be reimbursed 22.45 but my account would be cancelled.

I told her I was unsatisfied and wanted the full 89 dollars back. I went on to tell her that I threw the first bottle out because you could not even read the ingredients. I was foolish to be mislead with the first bottle but demanded payment for the second. She then told me I would get 44.90 back.

Still not good enough. I could kick myself for getting involved in this nonsense. It appears to be criminal! Please, anyone reading this....do not order this "trial" product for $4.95.

Biggest scam ever!!!!!!!!!

(I also know that Amanda 4090 is being paid to answer the calls and repeat...you agreed to the conditions...she also blocked my voice when I was speaking)

Guest

This company is entiry a scam. They offer you a free trial via Facebook, then send the 2oz cream, then a charge shows up on your credit card for 89.10. You speak to foreigners who can barely speak English, they are rude, refuse to give you a supervisors name or mailing address to complain!

Guest

I had the same problem but to my surprise the customer service department told me how to return the product and my money has been refunded back to my account

VITAL EYE CREAM is PATHOS SKIN

See PATHOS SKIN complaints, Vital Eye Cream is the same biller. Product cost is probably 5x higher price than similar products. Difficult to cancel with monthly $89.10 with information provided. That's $1,069.20 one thousand, sixty nine dollars and 20 cents per year for 12 oz of product. Ordered a free trial($4.95s/h) skin cream from Pathos skin care of Sunrise, Fla.(Orlando).In the very fine print you sign up for a monthly program of $89.10 for less than an oz. September 2015 the company changed their billing name from 877291****PATHOSSKIN 11110 W OAKLAND PARK to VITAL EYE CREAM 11110 W OAKLAND PARK BL SU.

All consumers

I am amazed at all the complaints, if your old enough to order, then you are old enough to know nothing is free!!! We all make that choice not to read all those terms and conditions! All the details of the offer are listed if you just read. This company is not a scam, they are a legitimate company, just not good marketing. Step up and take responsibility , quit blaming someone else for your negligence! Did you read the terms prior to posting on this site? 9 out of 10 have not! But you checked that box! Same thing with pathos , it was YOUR choice!

I was told by two of your agents at Bellaluciskin (Deluxe Eye Therapy that I could find a copy of your "Terms of Service" both on Bellaluciskin.com and Pathosskin.com. Well, neither site has the Terms of Service and I don't believe anyone has ever seen them.

Can you PLEASE provide me with a copy.

I am a VERY UNHAPPY EX-CUSTOMER!!! And now you're asking me to agree to the Terms of Service again in order to send this and this is just for the "pissed consumer terms of service" but be on notice that I do not agree to any other terms of service, but want you to see my complaint!

Pathos Skin Repair- Continued Billing Even After Cancellation

Ordered Rx repair snake venom peptide cream for 14-day free trial for $44.99. After 2 days, I decided to cancel my order when I read the various complaints about this product and company that is selling it. They accepted my cancellation (which I am sure was recorded in their system) and was counter- offered to make 2 shipments of (1) peptide cream together with (1) bottle of advanced eye gel for the total amount of $89.90 which I agreed. I found out the following month that I was again charged in the amount of $97.85. I called their office about the overcharged and denied it because it's not shown in their records. I was advised to fax them my bank account statement showing the alleged overcharge so they can give me a discount. After a month with no refund yet received, I called them and another person claimed that since I cancelled after trial expiration (which is not true), I am not entitled to a refund. It looks like they have all these prepared excuses for this scam. They don't want to confirm cancellation thru emails but only phone conversation which can easily be denied. I discontinued using this product because it does not work.

Actually you DID agree to the charges, trouble is, it's in the fine print that's hard to find. (like those free credit cards that the minute you activate it, you will be charged an annual fee of $135 or some *** amount).

I once ordered, and quite recently, a totally different productfor a 10 free trial for the cost of shipping, $5, no buggy, right. But I knew there was a catch and I found it after I placed the order, not before. If not cancelled within those first 15 days, I would get charged like $75 or something.

1) I received the product in 5 days, that left me 10 days to try the product (which irritated my skin).

The fine print was from time of purchase.

2) I did not like that to cancel was solely by email. I did not wait til last minute though, but when I did cancel, I did not receive an email confirmation. I tried 5 times!

I got scared cuz I did not have the $$ to cover, and I just wanted to try, not a contract, and I had time on my side.

3) I immediately went to my bank , cancelled my credit card. I paid a $5 replacement fee. I preferred that hassle.

4) you will probably never get your money back, but you can always try. Good luck, cancel NOW, because it will keep happening.

Even if you have to close a checking account and not just cancel cards DO IT ASAP! 5) TO EVERYONE READING, BEWARE, ALL FREE TRIALS or just shipping cost trials, It's in their print somewhere that if not cancelled by a certain time YOU WILL BE charged and I it's always a high dollar about, and it's NEVER refundable.

COMPANY DEALS ONLY THRU WAREHOUSE AND DOES NOT RESPOND

I am a 78 year old woman who has used the Purientiagingcare product for several months. I have not seen any changes in my skin and decided to cancel my order. Jan. 11, 2015, I wrote a letter to their company at the address on their package, their warehouse, cancelling the order. It was mailed with a request for the signature of the receiver to be returned to me. When I called about it, I was told that I could only cancel by phone and that I would have to pay postage to return the package that I have not opened. I asked for their office address and was told they aren't allowed to give it and I was not allowed to speak to anyone other than Selena, Agent 4553. How does a company only do business like this. The phone # I called is in FL and the warehouse is in CA. Something is very wrong with this, they are either evading revenue taxes or something else that is illegal. The agent was rude and unhelpful. DO NOT USE THEIR PRODUCTS.

Billed for RX Repair $89.10 and item not received.

I placed an order for RX Repair Snake Venom Peptide Cream togather with Pathos Skin Care Multi-active serum (Advanced lifting & firming serum and cream). Both a package purchase for $89.10 a month. I am receiving the serum, not the cream yet paying for both. I have disputed the last three months, but have yet to receive a decision. If this is a scam, I will seek justice. If this is an oversight, I will consider not filing a formal claim assuming I receive the last 3 months supply of RX Repair Snake Venom Peptide Cream that has been charged to my credit card.

Pathos Skin Care ? Rx: Fullfillment Center. Piggy Back SCAM

I just got of the phone with my Bank regarding the eternal charges for Pathos Skin Care (Advanced Lifting and Firming Serum) and an associated "PIGGYBACK" product from "RX: Fullfillment Center" - " Snake Venom". Purchased as a "trial" via a facebook link. Supposed to pay a "shipping fee" of 4.95 for the trial. SCAM! I did not request the "Snake Venom". Both entities start billing your credit card for $89.10.- you cannot GET RID of the order without going to the Bank and having your Persona Banking Representative make a recorded conference call. The number listed on the packing slip for Rx: Fufillment Center (aka: tryallyourin) is listed as 1-80*-470-****. This number is disconnected. The URL: www.pathosskincare.com is now a free domain name. The Customer Service Number for Pathos Skin Care is: 877-362-****. Spoke with them again this morning to get the Return Merchant Authorization #. Again, they want to offer me the product at 50% off. Reps for Pathos Skin Care deny they are associated with "Rx: Fullfillment Center". My product is officially CANCELLED with Pathos Skin Care. I made it clear that if I received a shipment from Rx: Fullfillment Center... my Bank would be conducting a FRAUD INVESTIGATION. Stay away from these 2 organizations. FRAUD.

It happened to me too. Sounds like the same company going under the name Skin Elements.

You try to cancel and they ignore you and bill your cc anyway. I did not even use it after I read it was snake venom I would rather keep my wrinkles.

Who knows what is really in that jar that I most likely from India.

Guest

Exact same experience! Expensive lesson for me too! I already knew nothing is free and this proved it!

Guest

I got pulled into this also. I am furious at the $89.00 monthly charge and want to return the unopened boxes for a full refund.

I also tried the fulfillment center and found the number no longer in service.

I feel like screaming. I will be making a trip to my bank.

Pathos Skin Care a scam.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
This product piggy backed on another product I ordered for shipping cost only. Then both companies continued to bill me for unwanted products. The Snake Venom one took all charges off my Master Card but the Pathos people were intolerable. You could hear an entire bank of employees dealing with similar complaints about the methods of this deceptive, misleading company. Not only do they make it impossible to stop receiving the product, but the product itself is a scam. They intentionally put a reflective lighting on the list of ingredients and make the printing so small that it cannot be read even with a magnifying glass. Citi Bank is refuting the charge on my account, and I am mailing back the unopened product. If they don't give me a full refund asap, my next step is to contact the State Attorney General of AZ.

PATHOS SCAM!!!!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I just off the phone with the most frustrating customer service person that ever existed!! I ordered Pathos Skin Care on face book for only $4.95 shipping. Received the product and there was maybe four days worth of product in the bottle (probably one that some had used and shipped back). Next thing I get is a $89.10 debit on my bank statement. I then go to the bank and filed a dispute. Had to change my debit card, bank informed me this misrepresentation happens all the time. Next thing, dispute rejected. Call the bank. The bank gave me the company's phone number, then comes the frustration. Bless her heart, I know she is frustrated as well with me. I know she is doing what this company instructed her to do but I am going to fight this. DO NOT ORDER THIS PRODUCT. It is a scam!!!! I am 72 years old and I will fight this till my dying days. My next step is to contact the State Attorney General of CA. and AL. I may not win but at least other people will know NOT to BUY this PATHOS product. This may be the best product ever, I wouldn't know since I only had four squirts from my bottle that cost me $89.10, that's approx. $22.25 a drop. "DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT". I am really a very nice lady but there are things that get me stirred up and when a company tries to rip off their customers it stirs me. DON"T BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!!!!!

This exact same thing happened to me only I used a credit card vs a debit card. The fraud department of the credit card company called me the day after I received my statement with the $89.10 charge on it.

I told the company it was a bogus charge so they are removing it and sending me a new credit card. This is a horrible scam. I am not 72 but will be 75 next month.

Piece of *** company that wants to take advantage of older women.

DOUBLE SCAM: PATHOS ALONG WITH RX REPAIR: If you give them your credit card, they automatically pull $90 monthly for the *** they call 'anti aging' cream. SCAM.

'PATHOS': If you look it up in the dictionary, it means; a quality that evokes pity or sadness. They got me for $89 with product that does nothing but charge your credit card every month. I'll pay more attention to 'free sample' from now on. You can't return unopened product because they will not refund after 14 days. They advertise along with RX repair which is another scam. If you've been scammed, use your social media to get the word out. Get rid of these *** Don't put a check mark next to anything! It basically means you've signed their contract.

Difficulty canceling future shipments from Pathos Skin Care

The automated customer service asks only for the number you used to place the original order which "cannot be located" but if you press O and stay on the line you will get a person who can find your phone number (associated with credit card used to ship the trial for $4.95 and subsequent orders at $89.00+). The company will not accept email cancelations, only refers you to the automated customer service that does no good. Try the above recommendation; it worked for me. Plus I alerted the fraud dept. of the credit card I used just to be safe!
